Since 1987, LyondellBasell has been producing polypropylene compounds at the Bayreuth site with around 130 employees. Today, these high-performance materials are used by all leading automotive manufacturers and OEMs, either indoors or outdoors:
Outdoor: In the production of bumpers; Sidebars and thresholds, air guards
Interior: For dashboards, door side panels, A-, B-, C-pillars, hat racks
Under the bonnet: In the heating and cooling system, exterior, interior, bonnet.
