MicroStep – Your Partner for Cutting and Automation

MicroStep is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of CNC-controlled cutting systems. The group of companies develops and produces plasma, oxyfuel, laser and water jet cutting systems for its customers – from small CNC systems for schools and workshops to tailor-made production lines for steel centers, shipyards or the automotive and aerospace industries. In addition, MicroStep offers automation systems and software applications for almost all areas of the metalworking industry and the energy sector.

More than 100 development and design engineers are constantly working on solutions that enable MicroStep customers to cut and produce more effectively and economically. It always combines state-of-the-art technologies and processes in order to offer complete solutions for processing sheet metal, profiles, pipes and container bottoms.

A total of more than 600 MicroStep employees currently serve around 2,500 customers worldwide. With a network of subsidiaries and authorized resellers, the group is represented in more than 50 countries. MicroStep cutting systems are in use in companies throughout Europe and operate in numerous production facilities in the USA, South Africa, Brazil, the Middle East, Egypt, India, China, Vietnam or South Korea. In the field of automated plasma cutting technology, MicroStep is the world market leader.

MicroStep Europa® GmbH is part of the internationally operating MicroStep Group®, which was founded in Bratislava, Slovakia at the beginning of the 90s.

MicroStep Europa GmbH, based in the Bavarian town of Bad Wörishofen and a branch in Dorsten (NRW), offers a nationwide sales and service network with strategically placed bases in the three DACH countries for the entire German-speaking area. The bases can be found in Germany in Kiel and Berlin, in Austria in Linz and in Switzerland at our premium partner LWB WeldTech AG near Bern.
