MECHANICAL PROCESS ENGINEERING

Mechanical Process Engineering is an area where HOSOKAWA ALPINE is one of the world’s leading suppliers. In many industries, our powder and granule machinery and equipment is an indispensable element for smaller family businesses to well-known corporations: in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, in recycling, and in mineral and metallic processes.

For many products of everyday life powdered or granular substances are required, for example for toothpaste, cement, powder coating, instant coffee, flour, eye shadow and headache tablets. A large number of these powders are produced on our HOSOKAWA ALPINE grinding and classifying plants. They set standards worldwide with regard to the longevity and reliability of the systems. We also understand how to reground coarse or fine-grained powder with our compacting and briquetting equipment.

BLOWN FILM

Our second business unit promises our customers premium film quality in plastics processing. As a technology leader with patented cutting-edge technology, HOSOKAWA ALPINE supplies excellent equipment and components for the production of films with the perfect properties.

Our extensive range of services also includes film winders, the patented HOSOKAWA ALPINE X-series blown heads or our developed TRIO system for monoaxial film stretching with less marginal strip waste. The further optimization of the energy and raw material consumption of our plants and systems is not only an important aspect for us from the point of view of environmental protection, but also in view of the competitive advantages that we provide our customers with.
