About us

centra – that means over 50 years of experience in visor technology. The company founder Helmut Brunner sen., One of the largest visor designers, embodied a pioneer and successful entrepreneur in one person. His passion for shooting became a vocation and so he produced in the 50s, the first sightings. The rifle world owes him innumerable iris diaphragm, color filter and ring grain constructions. Numerous visa patents are rooted in his ingenuity or were only feasible through his constructive contribution. He was just a “genius”.

Today, centra presents itself as one of the world’s largest visor manufacturers with state-of-the-art computer-controlled manufacturing equipment. Graduate engineer Johann Zähringer knows how to develop and implement new ideas as a successful shooter (multiple German champion and European champion) with junior manager Tabitha Baltensperger, the daughter of the house, and a highly motivated team. New products and product enhancements are developed and tested in collaboration with world class shooters, the team-centra.
