For more than 20 years, palamides GmbH has been the first address for automatic laying out. Whether at the saddle stitcher, on folding machines, printing machines with attached finishing lines or inserting machines – palamides has the right solution.

 It all started with the palamides Papierverarbeitungs GmbH, which was founded in 1972 as a paper folder in Stuttgart. The company headquarters were relocated to Renningen in 1985. Influenced by the practical experience of daily changing parental care requirements, Stefano Palamides developed the first automated display to streamline the folding machine and saddle stitcher operations. After the system proved to be very effective in its own company, palamides GmbH started selling the displays in 1997 and changed its purpose from bookbinding to mechanical engineering.

Meanwhile, palamides displays behind many saddle stitchers, folders, mailers, digital presses, etc. have become indispensable – worldwide. Various products are fully automatically controlled, pressed, collected, shaken, counted and buffered.

New and further developments, in cooperation with international users, for practical machines, are constantly implemented with modern operating structures.
