The company, founded in 1952 in Ludwigsburg, with its current headquarters in Pliezhausen near Tübingen, produces machines and tools for the direct, material-displacing and permanent marking of metal or plastic components.

Borries marking systems can be found worldwide throughout the automotive industry, its suppliers, the aerospace industry, mechanical engineering, the electrical and steel industry and medical technology.
