Koehler Paper Group
Today, the paper mill August Koehler is one of the few successful German family-owned companies in the paper industry with over 200 years of corporate history. At the headquarters in Oberkirch and in the plants in Kehl, Greiz and Weisenbach, around 1,800 employees produce state-of-the-art paper and cardboard for the global market. Our thermo papers and beer glass coasters have made it to the top of the world market, with reacto® carbonless copying papers we are the European leader. Furthermore, high-quality fine papers, environmentally friendly recycled cardboard and decorative papers for coating wood-based materials are part of our product range.
Koehler Energy Group
In addition to the core business of paper, the company invests in its own energy supply and future-oriented energy technologies with the Koehler Energy Group. Our aim is to invest in cogeneration plants together with business partners in order to utilize the decades of know-how in the field of energy generation. In addition, investments will be made in onshore wind energy and hydropower. New energy technologies are also continuously focused.
Koehler Innovative Solutions
As the youngest member of the corporate group, Koehler Innovative Solutions is involved in the development and production of microcapsules for a wide variety of applications and industries.
