Novotek GmbH was founded in August 1973. The focus of the business area was the development and production of laser optical devices, especially for the laboratory sector and universities. From 1976, the high vacuum area became more and more the subject of business activities and eventually replaced the laser sector.

The business activity initially focused on the design and construction of high vacuum products, with the manufacturing of individual components initially transferred to manufacturing operations and external suppliers. The long-standing partnership with almost all suppliers results in today’s well-established cooperation. With the decision not only to produce standard components but also special components cost-effectively according to customer specifications, it became necessary to install our own production facility.

The growth of the company has always been conservative: best relations with our business partners and a fair and solid way of working was and is our principle. In addition, we have high standards in terms of product quality, competitive prices and short delivery times. In almost all cases, our standard products are available directly from the warehouse. Another advantage is the close, often personal contact with our customers with the aim to make the customer problems to our problems and to find solutions. A very good working atmosphere in the workforce as well as the aforementioned trusting business relationships with our customers and suppliers is the result of our steady sales growth.

The development of novoteks from a supplier for universities and institutes to a supplier for the industry was an important step for a sustainable growth. The product portfolio now includes all components in KF, – ISO-K and CF range. The continuous development of all valves is also one of our great strengths.

Another strength of novotek is the creation of special components according to customer specifications, sketch, drawing or CAD data. These special components have been gaining in importance and presence for years.

Since 2011, we have also been building cubic and cylindrical vacuum chambers in various dimensions according to customer drawings. Here, our diverse experiences are usefully brought to the customers.
