About us
As a family-run foundation company with around 950 employees worldwide, we develop and manufacture sensors for mechanical engineering and vehicle systems for the commercial vehicle industry. Our quality products are characterized by a very high degree of vertical integration and are manufactured climate neutral in the Allgäu. As a sustainable company, we report according to the German Sustainability Code.
At elobau, the maxim “people at the center” applies.As a foundation company, we maintain a reliable partnership with our employees, of whom 87% recommend us as an employer (study Great Place to Work® 2017).
In addition to responsibility for employees and society, we are fully aware of our responsibility to the environment. For us as a company, this means that in addition to immediate goals such as economic development, employment and CSR, the focus is also on safeguarding our natural livelihoods. In 2009, we set ourselves the goal of eliminating the company’s carbon footprint (including the manufacturing of its products). With the initiative “elobau goes green”, this goal was already achieved in 2010. Here, we definitely play a pioneering role in our industry.
