history
We have been at home in the gas industry since the early 1970s. With rehabilitation and pipeline construction, many new techniques were tested and applied in practice in the first years, during which time the device technology developed. First as a pure gas meter (GM7601) shortly thereafter, as the very first universal gas detection and gas meter with all measuring ranges required for professional work (GMS3).
During this time, the company Schütz was the sole manufacturer of universal measuring instruments, later it became a recognized standard in the industry and now every manufacturer has universal measuring instruments on offer. Thus, the innovative technology in which we have the greatest experience has become the standard in this field of metrology. We develop and produce universal measuring instruments to this day and can draw on decades of experience.
The rehabilitation with Penetrol and later with Penetrol 93 in the new federal states was a branch of activities. In addition, it was previously renovated with Avonseal and various interior coatings.

General
Schütz GmbH Messtechnik has been active in pipe network inspection and gas measuring technology for more than 20 years. In the Services division, Schütz checks the public gas pipeline networks in accordance with the DVGW rules on behalf of the energy supply companies and is active in the field of leak and line search as well as meter replacement. In addition, specialist seminars and training sessions are carried out for utility employees. Schütz GmbH was certified as a specialist company by the DVGW for testing gas pipelines.

Since 2002, the company has a certified ISO 9001: 2008 quality management.
