PROCESS PLANNING FOR PROTOTYPE PRODUCTION
Series products often have quantities in the millions. It is all the more important that every step of the process is checked and codified in advance. Therefore, we also plan the production process for prototype construction and thus test the manufacturability of the series. At Härter, this also includes quality planning as well as the definition of the necessary quality criteria.

CONSTRUCTION OF PROTOTYPES
An essential prerequisite for efficient and safe production is the construction of the prototypes. An interdisciplinary team of engineers and technicians quickly produce close-to-production sample parts that are produced in single processes or semi-automatically. The ideas and insights gained are taken over into the series tools. So we can test and develop the optimal solutions for you.

SPECIAL TOOLS FOR PROTOTYPES
In prototype construction, special tools – also called manual insertion tools – are used. In this way, you can gather important experiences that are indispensable for a smooth serial production process. As a specialist in toolmaking , Härter has a wealth of prototype tools. This is why standard frames can often be used, which merely have to be adapted to the specific product. A convincing advantage in terms of cost and efficiency in prototype construction.

FULLY EQUIPPED ALSO FOR THE PREFACE
Hardener has special equipment for the production of our prototypes and pre-series parts. For prototype construction, insert presses from 1 to 40 t are available for punching technology and spray systems for plastic composite components . Alone 13 trial presses are reserved for sample and pilot series products. The equipment for the pre-production is supplemented by 2D and 3D laser cutting machines.

From visual inspection to manual dimensional testing to 3D measuring machines: the entire testing equipment used in the series production process is also used in prototype construction.
