We have been offering our customers a comprehensive range of printed circuit board services since 1986. Electrical tests are the focus of activity in the initial phase of the company. A short time later, however, the data and adapter drilling service as well as notch milling are added as services.
The construction of test adapters in translator technology for complex printed circuit boards became an integral part of the service range in 1993. One year later, the first fully automatic tests of large series, the welding of circuit boards and the first prototype tests with flying probe systems start. In 1995 a spatial expansion is due. The first of three external test houses is being built in Niedernhall. This year the development of special testing devices and handling equipment also begins. In 1997 and 1998 the Leitec test centers in Pforzheim and Rot am See go into operation.
The following years are marked by important innovations. Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) was added as a service in 2000. In 2001, Leitec first offered its customers adapter construction for assembled assemblies. Since 2002, initial sample tests and since 2003 the test service for assembled assemblies have been part of the Leitec range.
