about us
Originally founded in 1967 under the name Rhein-Conti Kunststoff-Technik GmbH, since March 2015 we have been a member of the RPC Group (www.rpc-group.com), a listed global company. RPC is a leader in the design and manufacture of plastic products with over 90 product locations worldwide and more than 15,000 employees.
We are leading the field of rotary melting with around 15 rotary machines on site. In this process we manufacture, among other things, fuel, urea, sewage and fresh water tanks, dashboards and air pipes. Theoretically, any conceivable hollow plastic body can be produced by means of the rotational fusion process.
production process
The rotational molding process (rotomoulding) is a manufacturing process for parts made of thermoplastic materials. Other names are u. A. Rotational sintering, rotational molding, rotational melting, rotational molding or rotational molding.
Each product requires its own shape of steel or aluminum. The mold is mounted on a machine arm of the rotary unit and filled with powdery raw material (eg polyethylene, polypropylene). The mold is then driven into the oven with constant biaxial rotation. In the mold, the raw material melts, adheres to the inner wall of the mold and thus builds up the wall thickness of the plastic part.
Subsequently, the mold is driven under biaxial rotation in a cooling chamber and cooled the plastic mass.
Thereafter, outside the cooling chamber demolding of the product and the refilling of the mold.
The unpressurized products are virtually stress-free. Depending on the raw material used, rotationally sintered components are very robust, light, flexible, dyeable (dryblend or compound), UV-resistant and resistant to many chemicals.
