For laser cutting, machining heads for all common types of lasers, such as CO2 and solid-state lasers, are available in various performance and accuracy classes. Equipped with non-contact, long-term stable distance and process sensors, they achieve optimum cutting qualities.

For laser beam joining, Precitec offers efficient complete solutions from a single source with machining heads and automated quality control systems. High-resolution cameras determine the joining position and geometry in advance by means of the light-section method and gray value analysis for the welding process and precisely steer the welding head to the right place. In-process sensors and cameras provide information on the stability of the welding process and welding defects. Downstream cameras measure the geometry and surface of the seam.
