Bock Kältemaschinen GmbH is a medium-sized family business run by managing directors Wolfgang Etter, Heinrich Reuß and Udo Klaussner.
The company manufactures compressors and units for stationary and mobile refrigeration and air conditioning and is known worldwide for its quality products. The products are used exclusively in commercial and industrial environments.
In stationary use, Bock products can be found in all areas of refrigeration, in particular in supermarkets, refrigerated warehouses, fruit storage, bakery machines, the beverage industry and in the chemical industry, i.a.m. Due to the consistent expansion of the product range over the last few years, however, the products are also increasingly being used in building air conditioning.
In the mobile application, the focus is in the field of omnibus air conditioning. As a system-independent manufacturer of air conditioning compressors, Bock is the market leader in Europe and supplier to all well-known system and bus manufacturers in this market segment. But also in trains and on ships Bock products for cooling and air conditioning are in use worldwide.
The company employs more than 330 people worldwide and has production sites in the Czech Republic, India and China. Bock achieved annual sales of around 55 million euros in 2009.
