New Piolen® Soft PP-GF Compound Family
Piolen® Soft is a new polypropylene glass fiber compound (Soft PP-GF) with a high-quality, soft surface in combination with very good mechanics.
In many applications, TPEs are too soft, so that only with complex combinations of materials, such as 2-component injection molding or coatings, the desired surface qualities achieved.
With Piolen® Soft, on the other hand, injection molding parts with a soft and sophisticated surface appearance can be produced in just one processing step.
This can significantly reduce manufacturing costs and simplifies internal and external processes.
Piolen® Soft is available in various modifications.
In addition to glass fiber components of 15 to 30% for the variation of mechanics, we also offer types with different hardnesses / surface qualities.
Customized equipment, even for smaller quantities, is easily possible due to production technology.
Typical applications are covers in the car and truck sector.
But also in furniture (chair parts), household (knife handles) and recreational area (handles of lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, etc.) are possible.
