KRIWAN has been specializing for over 50 years in protecting industrial machinery and equipment from overload and downtime. Today, KRIWAN is the world market leader in electronics and sensors for refrigerant compressors, in temperature sensors for electric motor winding protection and in industrial weather measurement. With more than 200 employees in Forchtenberg, as well as subsidiaries in China, France, Italy, Austria, the USA and Brazil, KRIWAN is active worldwide. All products of sensors, monitoring, control and diagnostic electronics are produced completely at the Forchtenberg site. Since its founding in 1968, the independent family business KRIWAN has been continuously developing new ideas as a pioneer and innovation leader, translating these into economic and tailor-made products and systems for its customers. Since 1997, KRIWAN has been operating a test center in Forchtenberg, where companies from all over the world can put their products and new developments to the test.

KRIWAN is a globally active company, with more than 200 employees in Forchtenberg as well as subsidiaries in China, France, Italy, Austria, United States and Brazil. All products in the areas of sensor technology as well as monitoring, and diagnostic electronics are manufactured at the Forchtenberg site.
