The NIVUS Group is a global developer, producer and supplier of instrumentation for the water industry.
For more than 45 years, the family business has been working in the field of flow measurements and is one of the leading international providers in this sector.
NIVUS GmbH has 7 international branches and operates with over 40 distributors worldwide.
history
NIVUS GmbH was founded in 1967 by Udo Steppe in Eppingen-Mühlbach.
In 1975, Udo Steppe pioneered ultrasound measurements. The introduction of ultrasonic technology for industrial level measurement was carried out.
In 1986, NIVUS developed and produced the first intelligent data logger – the RÜB Controller, a controller that is able to control, monitor, and log rainwater overflow basins
The next milestone in NIVUS history will be in 2000. NIVUS introduces ultrasonic cross-correlation technology. For the first time, a flow profile with millimeter-accurate assignment can be created for flow measurements.
In 2009, the management was reinforced by Marcus Fischer.
Products
The NIVUS product portfolio includes high-precision measurement systems for flow measurement, flow rate measurement, level measurement, pressure measurement and water quality measurement. NIVUS GmbH also offers software for data acquisition, logging and evaluation of the measurement results. Depending on the customer-specific application different measuring principles are used. An extensive process control system completes the product portfolio.
In the service sector, NIVUS offers metering campaigns for sewer networks to record flow and water quality / cargo, as well as data analysis and data processing.
