About us:
INDAG develops and realizes modern process equipment as well as machines for the beverage and food industry and belongs to the group of Dr. Ing. Hans-Peter Wild. He is also the owner of the global beverage brand Capri-Sonne.
Acquired by company founder Rudolf Wild in 1963 and run purely as a purchasing company, INDAG quickly became an important part of the success story of WILD Werke. In 1972, INDAG was commissioned to design its own bag making and bottling plants, as the systems available on the market did not work efficiently enough and did not meet the high quality standards. As early as 1977, the company delivered the first complete Capri-Sonne production plant – turnkey for immediate commissioning.
Since 2004, Pouch Technology has been a separate business segment of INDAG. With its POUCH SYSTEMS division, INDAG offers the food and pet food industry efficient high-performance filling systems and packaging machines for stand-up pouches as well as turn-key solutions from bag production and filling to overpacking.
For Capri-Sonne and Capri-Sun products alone, more than seven billion pouches are produced each year – exclusively on machines from INDAG. Around one-fifth of all stand-up pouches in use worldwide are manufactured and filled on bag making machines from INDAG. This makes INDAG the world market leader in Pouch Technology.
In the field of process technology, INDAG has made a name for itself with the Heidelberger Mixer, the first fully automatic volumetric syrup mixing plant. Today, 200 filling machines and 650 systems are in operation worldwide. In Germany, every second well-known mineral well is one of the company’s customers.
