ALM – Advanced Laryngeal Monitoring
State-of-the-art technology for advanced signal recording in thyroid surgery
The cutting edge Channel Select Software, has been especially developed for the C2 NerveMonitor and application in thyroid surgery. >> This software offers highest usability and automatically selects the optimal trace from the 4 channels of the Laryngeal Electrodes Select >> and displays the strongest signal. This technique enables a seamless and reliable detection of muscle responses even under poor signal conditions.
8 contacts – 4 channels – 1 best signal
The Laryngeal Electrode Select is a surface electrode, which can be used on a tube with 6-7 mm or 7-9 mm provides the best possible EMG signal recording from the vocal cords. The recording electrode can easily be placed at the vocal cords and due to the extended length of the 8 sensor pads, the ALM technology offers optimal signal recording of the M. vocalis during intraoperative neuromonitoring in thyroid surgery. The 360° surface sensor coverage with 8 long electrode contacts ensures ultimate signal stability, even if the tube is rotated or vertically shifted.
All signals are acoustically and visually displayed via the C2 NerveMonitor (IOM system for thyroid surgery >>). The C2 NerveMonitor is known as a smart specialist for higly precise neruomonitoring and is the result of inomed‘s several years of experience and intensive research in intraoperative neuromonitoring.
Synergistic effects combined to a state of-the-art technology
With the ALM technology, user benefit from the synergistic effects of individual key technologies. The C2 NerveMonitor and the C2 Channel Select Software build an intelligent end-to-end solution, ensuring efficient application in thyroid surgery, especially during RLN monitoring.
With more than 28 years of experience, ALM represents the most innovative leading-edge technology for advanced signal recording and highest reliability in thyroid surgery.
