Mechanikus Gottlieb KERN founded his company in 1844 and manufactured the most precise scales of his time from the start. His company became the nucleus of the internationally known southern German precision balance manufacturing.
Today we are a certified according to the latest DIN ISO 9001: 2008 specialist for accurate weighing with 175 years of experience and commitment to quality.
The KERN brand stands for precision and reliability. We are a medium-sized family company in the 8th generation based in southern Germany. KERN is completely independent and not obliged to anyone except our customers. We operate worldwide and have been connected to many of our customers for decades.
