Founded in 1991, ANSMANN AG today is one of the world’s leading companies for battery, accumulator, charging, drive technology and lighting technology with its “Consumer” and “Industrial” business units. With its five subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, China and Hong Kong, ANSMANN AG employs a total of more than 400 people – among others in the areas of research, development, production and sales. ANSMANN “Consumer”
In the “Consumer” business unit, ANSMANN AG develops and produces a large range of products for the end consumer, which are distributed via consumer electronics stores, technical specialist retailers and online. The broad portfolio ranges from batteries and rechargeable batteries to chargers and mobile lighting technology in the form of torch and headlamps as well as hand-held spotlights. Night lights and baby monitors are also available under the name “ANSMANN 4 Kids”.
ANSMANN “Industrial”
In the “Industrial” division, ANSMANN AG develops and produces OEM solutions for the mobile power supply of a wide range of applications. Renowned manufacturers worldwide trust in ANSMANN technologies, among others in the field of battery packs, power supplies, chargers and drive technology. These are used, for example, in garden tools such as cordless lawn mowers, trimmers or lecturers, medical technology, logistics or in electric wheelchairs as well as sweeping and suction machines. ANSMANN is focusing on climate-friendly mobility with the latest “e-bike / e-mobility” areas and offers innovative, integrated drive systems – consisting of battery pack, control unit, motor and display.
