About us
PEMTec is a mechanical engineering company specializing in the development and manufacture of machines for precise electrochemical metalworking. This technology is also known as PECM. We just call it “Pemmen®”.

The company name PEMTec stands for Precision Electrochemical Metal Working and Technology.

Founded in 1995 in Dillingen in Saarland, the head office is in Trier-Konz (Germany). The new location in Forbach (France), in the immediate vicinity of the German border, was added in 2003. This is where development, production and sales are located. Overall, the company employs more than 50 people. PEMTec operates worldwide.

From the beginning, PEMTec aspired to further develop PECM technology. Ever increasing demands on the form and quality of the workpieces to be produced has driven us to produce a standard machine. Today we are one of the technology leaders in this field and have been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 2004.
