PEP is the technical and innovation center in plastics specializing in composites and thermoplastic injection. It was created in 1989 by the industrialists of the Rhône-Alpes region, with the support of the Profession and the public authorities.

The PEP’s mission is to provide manufacturers in the plastics industry with resources, expertise and services with high added value.

The PEP declines R & D activities (collaborative projects or private contracts), services (business services) and industrial transfer.

His skills are articulated around six main areas of expertise:

The PEP has two strategic sites: Bellignat (01 – Plastics Valley) and Bourget du Lac (73) with:

a turnover of 9 M €, of which 40% in R & D
80 expert collaborators
industrial technological means
a network of partners (Materialautech, Plastics EcoDesign Center, Plastipolis, etc …).

The PEP is accessible to all companies in the plastics industry (molders, plastics processors, compounders and material producers, equipment manufacturers, principals, subcontractors …), whatever their size and location.
