Huahong Group, a part of the national Program 909, is a highly competitive and innovative high-tech enterprise specializing in semiconductor manufacturing for worldwide markets. Shanghai Huahong Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (“HHGrace” or the “Company”) under Huahong Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hua Hong Semiconductor Limited (stock code: 1347.HK), was incorporated through the consolidation between Shanghai Hua Hong NEC Electronics Company, Limited and Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation. Getting off the mark by building China’s first 200mm wafer fab, the Company now operates three 200mm wafer fabrication facilities (HH Fab1, HH Fab2 and HH Fab3) in Jinqiao and Zhangjiang, Shanghai, with a total monthly 200mm-wafer capacity of 175,000 wafers. The Company also provides sales and technical support in North America, Taiwan, Europe and Japan.

With expertise in all technical nodes from 1μm to 90nm, the Company delivers globally competitive and differentiated eNVM, power discrete, analog and power management, as well as logic and RF process platforms, and has manufactured automotive chips in volume for years.

Leading Production & Manufacturing Capacity
HHGrace owns three 200mm wafer fabrication facilities with cleaning room area of around 41,500m2, factory area of around 420,000m2. HHGrace also has one more fabrication facility based on 300mm wafer specifications, which is currently leased to Shanghai Huali Microelectronics Corporation, and HHGrace is one of its major investors. HHGrace, China Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd., and Wuxi Xi Hong Lian Xi Investment Co., Ltd. have established HH-Wuxi as a joint venture in Wuxi’s National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. In the first phase, USD2.5 billion will be invested to reach a production monthly capacity by forty thousand 300mm wafers. It is being built to support applications in emerging areas such as 5G and the Internet of Things.
