The STIWA Group is one of the world’s leading companies in the field of high-performance automation. High-performance automation means very high volumes (in the millions), very short cycle times (far less than one second) and very high quality requirements (for safety-related parts in the automotive industry, for example). Around the core business of assembly systems (as well as their service), further business units have developed in recent years that are successful in the field of automation:

For example, the subcontracting division has been manufacturing gearbox and steering components for the automotive industry for more than 15 years. On the one hand, the machining center division manufactures parts for our assembly lines, but on the other hand, it also acts as a parts supplier on the market. The Manufacturing Software division sells software for the operation and analysis of production facilities. The Laboratory Automation Division specializes in the automation of analytical processes in hospitals and laboratories. And the building automation business unit offers solutions for efficient office and operational buildings.

Founded in 1972 as a small family business in Attnang-Puchheim, STIWA has now grown to more than 1,800 employees at eight locations in four countries. In the financial year 2017/18, 255 million euros were transacted.
