Schieferstein – our name stands for reliable and diverse contract manufacturing of machine parts, construction components and repair parts up to complete machines and devices after customer drawing.

As a traditional company, we have been based in Lollar since 1911 and have steadily expanded our premises.

Graduate engineer Anette Schieferstein-Christof has been running our business since 1998 – as a family business in the 6th generation.

We have made it our mission to provide the best possible service to our customers. You as the customer determine the product and the characteristics with your drawings and specifications – we carry out professional, high-quality welding work with our experienced team and process your precision parts mechanically on our CNC-controlled machines and machining centers. In our house mainly steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics are processed.

Our products are mostly used in the domestic industry – in the area of ​​Gießen, Marburg Wetzlar and Herborn we deliver your products on time with our own truck.

We manufacture for you individual parts, small series as well as prototypes according to your needs.
Due to constant metal processing of the most different dimensions and consequent storage of common metals (aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, brass) and plastics (POM, PA, PE, PVC) we are usually able to react to your needs at short notice.

Our production program includes the following metal processing:

Mechanical processing – with modern machines and versatile tools
Shooting up to Ø1000 mm / 2000 mm length (on cycle-controlled as well as conventional lathes)
Milling – up to 1400 mm in length (CNC-controlled as well as conventional)
Surface grinding up to a maximum of 1000 x 500 mm
Grooving grooves according to DIN 6885 – broaches 3 – 20 mm JS9
Drilling
Saws up to Ø 300 mm
Cutting shears up to 3000 mm in length (depending on material and sheet thickness)

TIG (tungsten inert gas) – application for constructions in aluminum and stainless steel
MAG (Metal-Active-Gas) – Application for constructions in steel and stainless steel
Electrode welding – Application for repair welding of different types of steel to each other, very conditionally also for castings.
