KRAUS Hard & Software is a company that has been active in the IT and telecommunications sector since 1992 . What began in the 1980s as a hobby for company owner Thorsten Kraus is now the IT institution par excellence in Hockenheim. Thorsten Kraus dealt with electronics early on. In his youth he worked on electronic devices and preferred to etch circuit boards. Out of this enthusiasm and fascination for computers, he founded his company in July 1992, which was initially housed very modestly in the bedroom of his childhood home. However, the space soon ran out – after moving several times, Thorsten Kraus and his team are now based in the heart of Hockenheim, on Karlsruher Strasse.

What started as a one-man operation has grown rapidly. But growth is not the ultimate goal of the entrepreneur; Quality has the highest priority. Under the motto “To stand still means to go backwards”, the company has been on the road to success since it was founded.

From the beginning, the company service was an important mainstay, as well as the numerous private customers and the support of schools and municipal institutions.
