OPTICAL PROFILOMETER
Polytec optical topography instruments are innovative, high-precision and non-contact tools for the 3D characterization of precision surfaces and functional surfaces. They are based on the principle of white-light interferometry, also called coherent or vertical scanning interferometry or coherence radar. Thanks to a large vertical travel, the nm-accurate resolution and areal measurement, they are ideal for determining shape parameters such as flatness, step height, parallelism without contact on large samples and almost all materials.
