For more than 30 years, the RSG® brand has stood for customer-specific switched-mode power supplies and standard DC / DC converters with a unique positioning that meets practically all requirements for high-quality and reliable power supply solutions.

Originally founded in 1988 as RSG Electronic Components GmbH in Offenbach as a special distributor for frequency-generating components and voltage converters, the range of products and services was soon adapted to the growing demand of customers and expanded to include switched-mode power supplies, inverters and finally our own development department for customer-specific power supply solutions up to around 25kW.

In December 2013 RSG Electronic Components GmbH became part of the British discoverIE group (LSE: DSCV) and within this group of companies the competence center for the development and production of switched-mode power supplies and other power supplies.

After the step-by-step integration of individual RSG processes into Acal BFi Germany, another subsidiary of the discoverIE Group, RSG Electronic Components GmbH was finally completely merged with Acal BFi Germany GmbH at their location in Dietzenbach in August 2020. With this merger, our activities in the field of power supplies have been bundled and significantly strengthened.
