Why absorbers and not collectors?

If one compares the economic efficiency of solar collectors and solar absorbers, it becomes clear why solar absorbers are used in almost all solar-heated outdoor pools:
Investigations have shown that in the sunny months of May to September no collectors are required, but SOLAR-FLEX ®-Absorbers are completely sufficient.
This can be easily explained: In summer the mean temperatures are between 15 ° C and 20 ° C. The water temperature in the outdoor pools should be around 22 ° C to 25 ° C. This means that the difference between the ambient temperature and the mean absorber temperature is in the range from 2 K to 10 K.
