The International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS) is the association that has positioned itself with its activities in the field of microelectronics.
IMAPS Germany was founded in 1973 and currently has around 300 members. As an association, IMAPS Germany represents the members and their specialist areas of interest within the international network of microelectronics. IMAPS offers supervision for members and promotes an international perspective.
IMAPS stands for dialogue in the form of discussion groups and round tables among specialist colleagues from close by. In particular, at annual conferences and seminars, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary specialist groups enable a detailed increase in knowledge in specific topics and development complexes. Furthermore, contacts to stakeholders and multipliers promote personal and professional development.
IMAPS bundles opinions, supports decision-making within the profession and gives those responsible weight for decision-making on an objective basis.
