The Mechatronics & Automation Cluster is the Bavarian network for the exchange of technological and organizational know-how in mechatronics and automation. It serves as a platform for cooperation, networking and qualification of actors across disciplinary and industry-relevant borders and unites research institutions, companies and public institutions.

The thematic focus is on the development of innovative automation methods and the transfer of mechatronic technology models. We help our members to find suitable partners for cooperation – be it regional or international, in the area of ​​research and development or for the agile balancing of peak loads. In cross-border projects, we sharpen the profile of our members on an international level and thus lay the foundation for new global cooperation.

In close communication with our members, we address current and future-oriented problem areas in the industry and initiate strategic solutions. In addition to the main office in Augsburg, the mechatronics & automation cluster operates regional offices in Nuremberg and Regensburg. Thus, we are always present for our members on site.
