About Paramit
Paramit is a contract development and manufacturing firm focused on medical devices and life sciences instruments. We are well established, technically deep, and financially strong – a low risk option for startups and established OEMs to leverage external resources and scale without constraints.

The products we design and build include hand held and point of use devices, benchtop instruments, and cart based systems. We are comfortable with low volume, complex capital equipment, and high volume devices which require a low cost region manufacturing solution. We offer various paths to sustained production including full or partial design support, production in Silicon Valley, and local NPI with quick transfers to Paramit Malaysia.

Our foundation and core internal process capabilities are printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and advanced electronics testing and automated inspection. We combine this expertise with mechanical assembly processes and knowhow that are most relevant to medical and life sciences hardware. These include optics, fluidics, motion control, and precision electro-mechanical assembly.

Paramit’s business is characterized by customers often needing only one contract manufacturer. Their CM partner selection becomes one the most important decisions they’ll ever make, and we don’t take our role lightly. Our infrastructure is set up to ensure supply chain predictability, plan for infrequent but disruptive events, and take ownership whenever possible to affect a positive outcome.
