Electrowind was started by our founder and president, Elio Tedesco in 1983 when he recognized that motor and transformer repair and manufacturers were not being served by any suppliers or manufacturers that understood their business and catered to their needs. Initially offering magnet/winding wire; our product line has grown substantially based on customer demand to include all of the insulating, conductive, adhesive, protective, maintenance and consumable products and tools manufacturers need to build and repair equipment today.

In the year 2000, Electrowind Converting Solutions was born from demand from our customers for us to become their single supplier partner, parlaying our service-focused expertise to creating converted custom parts for their applications. Our customers requested that we truly become their ONE-STOP shop for the materials and parts they need. Today, we offer a vast array of precision in-house converting and machining capabilities for both rigid and flexible materials in order to create custom and cost-effective parts based on customer requests
