We have been supplying steel industrial machines and constructions for almost 50 years. We provide our customers with a high level of expertise, fast delivery at a favorable price. We design and manufacture machines for the metallurgical industry, coking plants, steel and mining, as well as the sugar beet industry.

With the abbreviation Elfa we like to combine the statement “One supplies for all (s)”.

Elfa Maschinenbau was founded in 1959 as a subsidiary of Elfa Apparatebau GmbH in Mülheim. Initially, the company designed and produced machines for the sugar industry. These were then manufactured exclusively for the parent company. As the work for the sugar industry was seasonal, the company started building facilities for new customers. In the following decades, Elfa Maschinenbau focused on attracting new customers, so that the company could operate independently after the closure of the parent company in 1986.

Today, the company is mainly active in steel construction and supplies its products mainly to North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Saarland. Elfa Maschinenbau produces between 200,000 and 300,000 different items – from small turned parts to large welded constructions – in the areas of cutting, sheet metal construction, steel construction, welding, mechanical processing, laser technology, CNC machining, sandblasting and painting. The product range of the company, which is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001, includes welded construction of up to 15 tons, such as special purpose machines such as Venturi flues for flue gas dedusting, vibration dampers for nuclear power engineering, (for) door and frame cleaning for coking plants , Squeezing and deflection rollers, slide rails, (milling machines, boring mills,

Due to the change to the current company location in 2005, the company has sufficient storage space and is also able to store goods for the customer on call.

The inquiries and drawings for the production of the products can be delivered via the Internet. Elfa Maschinenbau was one of the first companies to organize the corresponding drawings for customer orders via the Internet in order to be able to process them directly digitally. This saves development and planning time. Once the order has arrived, it will take care of the material purchase, production and final inspection of the designs, some of which will be developed together with the customer.

In order to be able to meet the specified delivery date, Elfa Maschinenbau relies on its reliable employees.
