SMD – STENCILS WITH PRECISE CUT
LaserJob GmbH was the first company in Germany to start producing laser-cut SMD stencils in 1992. In the meantime own company building in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich, in addition to SMD stencils also step stencils under the trade name PatchWork® stencil are manufactured. The step template produced exclusively by LaserJob, a combination of laser cutting and laser welding technology, was patented in 2000.
As early as 2007, LaserJob produced nano-coated SMD stencils and distributed them under the trade name NanoWork® stencil. In addition to SMD stencils in the frame, stencils can also be offered in our own quick-release system LJ 745. All stencils manufactured by LaserJob are cut in air-conditioned production rooms, with high accuracy and exact aperture geometry.
Our company history started on 1.4.1992 with the idea of producing laser cut SMD stencils ourselves. The two laser specialists Kleemann and Englmaier designed a laser cutting system with a pulsed 50 watt laser. At the same time they programmed a software for data processing and developed the entire manufacturing process including the CNC-controlled post-processing machine. In close collaboration with Fujitsu Augsburg (formerly Siemens Augsburg), the first laser-cut SMD stencils were produced in Germany.
The first laser system was designed so flexibly that other and above all thicker sheets could be processed. For example, approximately 1 mm thick sheets of copper and copper alloys were cut for automotive suppliers.
Gradually, further laser systems were designed and built. Additional applications such as laser welding and laser marking were added. The machine park continued to develop to the same extent.
