Standard rotary unions
The rotary unions of the following representations are primarily used for passing air to pneumatically actuated rotating clutches and brakes. Type 64 rotary joints are installed in the prepared shaft. They completely avoid the overhang of the otherwise usual rotary union for screwing on and are therefore often used, especially in cramped conditions. The air supply takes place in the axial direction. Designs for screwing to the shaft were designed in
Type 65 with axial air supply
Type 650 with radial air supply
We achieve a low friction torque by sealing the standard sizes with radial seal seals made of filled Teflon. These seals are characterized by low friction and low wear. For this reason, can also be dispensed with a counter support for supporting the torque in the rotary unions for air and emulsion. For hydraulic pressure 30 bar and high speeds may require a support. All designs have similar roller bearings of the rotor. ( The distance between the two bearings used is as large as possible to keep the bearing load as small as possible by possibly screwed on control organs .)The air ducts in the rotors are adjusted to the inner diameters of the pipes or hoses to be screwed on to avoid flow resistances Each of our rotary hubs was tested with the maximum values of pressure and speed before delivery.
