Using panelization to reduce Prototype PCB fabrication cost
For a number of years, prototype PCB shops in North America have been using board panelization to reduce material and tooling costs. With panelization, Quickturn Prototype panelization with identical specs are grouped together in a panel. The more boards in the panel, the less the amount of material wasted. The more orders per panel, the larger the spread of the tooling cost.
