NOWOFOL Kunststoffprodukte GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1971 and currently employs about 150 people at three locations in Siegsdorf. The production capacity amounts to more than 15000 tons of plastic film per year. Our films are delivered to over 70 countries worldwide. We work in 3 shifts on 11 production plants, various cutting and winding plants as well as two recycling plants.

NOWOFOL specializes in the production of monoaxially stretched and unstretched flat films made of polypropylene and other thermoplastics. The longitudinally stretched films are highly tear-resistant. We are world market leaders in this niche market of the plastic film industry.

The films are mainly used for the production of cigarette, foil and cardboard tear strips, technical adhesive tapes, handles for beverage bottles, foil covers for double-sided adhesive systems as well as for the isolation and bundling of power and data cables. The production program is rounded off by a large number of specialty films for special applications, such as Speaker diaphragms, labels, decorative bands, reinforcing strips and banding tapes.

Our subsidiary novoflon produces partially and fully fluorinated films made of the raw materials ETFE, THV, PVDF and FEP. These high performance films are sold under the registered trademark NOWOFLON. The membrane film NOWOFLON ET is predominantly used in transparent or translucent roofs for shopping centers, swimming pools, indoor tennis courts, zoo facilities, atria, etc. This film is also available in more than 30 vibrant colors.
