Broshuis, founded in 1885, is the oldest manufacturer of semi-trailers for special transport and still, just like when it was founded, 100% family business.
Broshuis is u.a. the inventor of the extendible semi-trailer (1958), the semi-trailer (1965), the triple trailer (1999), the triple-wing (2000), the multifunctional container chassis (1983) and the 2CONnect (2003) or current SL-Air (2014) just to name a few examples.
At present, Broshuis is not only one of the main players in the market for special transports, but now also in the container market. Every year, around 1,000 Broshuis trailers find their way to their customers.
Where other manufacturers are relocating their production to low-wage countries, Broshuis relies on continuous growth at the parent plant in Kampen with the highest quality. Constantly growing customer numbers and multiple awards as the best-managed company confirm this philosophy.
