Anodurite – a Swiss invention
With this galvanic process TITAN, TANTAL and NIOB can be perfectly anodised. Here, no change in mass takes place (without pickling), the mechanical values obtained (no weakening of pickling), increased corrosion resistance and reduced friction.
Screw connections can be loosened / tightened “infinitely”, higher torques are permissible.
When trying to pickle anodized tantalum and niobium, to remove the oxide layer, we failed miserably!
Galvex also has an optimized process for passivating metals. Not only stainless steels, but also tungsten alloys ….
