EPHY-MESS GmbH is the solution partner of all manufacturers of electrical machines and drive technology. The medium-sized family-owned company develops and produces individual sensor solutions for its customers for safety and control requirements.

Since 1955, these are manufactured in Germany and worldwide u.a. in the market segments railway technology, renewable energies and general industry.

We are characterized by a specific focus on the customer and his needs. A high level of service and qualified advice provide the customer with optimal support and enable individual problem and product solutions.

The product range of the EPHY-MESS ranges from classic resistance thermometers based on Pt100 for bearing, slot or end winding monitoring via cold and thermistor, KTY sensors, bimetallic switches and thermocouples to standstill heaters. Slot resistance thermometers are the heart of the EPHY-MESS and are available in various designs such as bifilar winding. The sensors are suitable for use in potentially explosive areas (IECEx & ATEX certifications). Analogue and digital evaluation electronics complete the product range of EPHY-MESS.

Areas of application include electric motors, generators, transformers and pumps, in plant construction, in traffic engineering, in wind power plants, in refrigeration and air-conditioning technology as well as in measurement and control technology. Robust and vibration-proof temperature sensors as well as oil level eyes and rotary encoders are manufactured especially for the railway industry.

EPHY-MESS has numerous utility models and patents, IECEx & ATEX certifications, IBExU and PTB certificates, DIN EN ISO 9001 certification, DIN EN ISO 14001 and the IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) quality standard as well as the TR certificate , the metrological certificate and the initial calibration.
