About us
We are a subsidiary of NUM AG, an international company headquartered in Switzerland, which operates around the globe with more than 35 sales and service locations.
NUM GmbH is responsible for sales and service in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic and oversees customer projects with a team of application engineers and service technicians.

Already 10 years before CNC or NC controls found a wide acceptance among the users, NUM developed the first CNC control in the year 1961. At the market launch in 1964 NUM was one of the first CNC suppliers worldwide. Since then, we have maintained our position as the technology leader in this segment, and we strive to expand it further.

Our market strategy is to help our current and future customers build a better machine that gives them a competitive advantage in the marketplace. As we can see from our logo, we consider ourselves a CNC high-end applications company focused on selected niche markets where we undoubtedly have something special to offer. Our long-term success story underpinned this statement in an impressive way. In addition, NUM has been a reliable and proven supplier of solutions for the standard machine market for decades. Our research and development departments are based in Switzerland, France and Italy, where our most important production facility is located. It is part of our well-defined strategy that we retain control over the design and manufacture of core products in a CNC machine, including drives and motors, so that we ourselves remain able to continuously improve the overall performance of a CNC machine improve.
