MOOG Brno has more than 60 years experience in development and production of synchronous motors. This enables pinpoint solutions for the individual requirements of our customers.
MOOG Brno is today a medium-sized company with more than 500 employees and was founded in 1947 as a research and development center of the MEZ Group in Brno, Czech Republic. Right from the start, the focus was on the production of electrical machines and drives with outputs of up to 1 MW.

In addition to machines for the 8 MEZ companies, MOOG Brno developed and produced especially customer-specific products. In 1994 MOOG Brno was transformed into a private limited company under the name VUES. Via Bautz GmbH in Weiterstadt, German industry was very successfully supplied with servo and linear motors as well as rotary direct drives.

The core competence of MOOG Brno lies in the development and production of electrical synchronous machines of various types, from servomotors to linear and torque motors, to larger synchronous machines, and more recently also slow-running synchronous generators for power engineering. The strength of the company is the fast and uncomplicated implementation of customer-specific requirements in the power range from 0.1 to> 500 kW.

VSM Antriebstechnik GmbH is a subsidiary based in Griesheim (DE), which handles the distribution of selected products from MOOG Brno in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Both companies have been part of the MOOG Industrial Group since April 2018.
