About us
                                     THEISEN GmbH
The company was founded in 1880 by Eduard THEISEN under the name
Founded in Leipzig “THEISEN’S PATENTS” and is engaged since then
Focusing on the development, planning and construction of facilities
for process gas purification.

Specially for the purification of blast furnace gases from shaft furnaces and blast furnaces was the
Desintegrator gas scrubbers known worldwide as the “THEISEN scrubber”
developed and patented in many countries. Complementary areas of
Process gas purification was developed with this versatile aggregate and
further developed. Several thousand THEISEN washers have been since the existence of the
Company delivered and still find widespread use as today
Core unit for cleaning process gases from blast furnaces, cupola furnaces,
Synthesis gas generators, pyrolysis furnaces and electric reduction furnaces.

THEISEN today focuses on gas purification systems using the
Desintegrators as a core aggregate and the associated process water circuits.
THEISEN also offers engineering services for these topics
Preliminary studies, design planning Detailed planning, execution planning and consulting
and service.
