A clearly defined market, a comprehensive product range, excellent quality and short innovation cycles, a worldwide sales network and dedicated, highly qualified employees – on this basis, SATA GmbH & Co. KG has been operating very successfully for over a hundred years. SATA manufactures and distributes paint spray guns and systems, filter technology, respiratory protection systems and accessories. The export share of the company is about 70 percent; Painters in 101 countries around the world are familiar with SATA.

The spray guns are the most important pillar in the SATA product mix. This focus is historically conditioned: After the company was founded in 1907 initially dedicated to the production of medical equipment, succeeded in 1925 with the “Lechler” spray gun entry into the paint gun business. The catalyst for this development was the introduction of fast-drying nitro coatings in the dynamically developing American automotive industry, which demanded a new application technology instead of the brush – and SATA provided the technical answer from Germany.

Today, SATA spray guns are mainly used in vehicle refinishing, but the industry is also an important sales market for the company. In addition, SATA products are also used in painting and carpentry businesses. Beautify, repair, protect and decorate – when it comes to wet paints you can not pass SATA products.

Behind it stands a highly motivated team of 274 employees led by a modern management with success orientation and social competence. Offering apprenticeships, on-the-job training and voluntary benefits and attractive benefits make SATA an attractive employer, with many employees remaining loyal to their working lives.

Through close cooperation with painters from trade and industry as well as with the technical application departments of all leading paint manufacturers, SATA develops products of highest utility value. Training at SATA – at SATA you learn for life!

In our more than 50-year training tradition, we have been able to give many young people a successful start to their professional lives. Many of our former apprentices are still part of the SATA family. Today, we can rely on employees who have had more than 600 years of professional experience since their training at SATA. We currently employ 20 trainees in five training occupations (industrial clerk, machining mechanic, specialist warehouse specialist, warehouse logistics specialist, machine and plant operator).

During training at SATA, we rely on the highest quality, as with our products. This is ensured by our instructors and training officers in the individual departments.
