About us
WORLDWIDE ACTIVE, ROOTED IN OSTHESSEN
WASSERMANN TECHNOLOGIE has almost 50 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Many of our clients have decades of successful relationships. The company was founded in 1969 in Eichenzell under the name HPI by Valentin Hargesheimer and Helmut Wassermann, father of today’s CEO Sebastian Wassermann.
In 1976, the company moved into the Industriepark Rhön in Eichenzell its first factory building and introduced the CNC technology. Three years later, the company trained for the first time commercial apprentices. The company grew steadily and therefore expanded its production areas at its Eichenzell site in several stages in the years 1980, 1985, 1989, 1994, 2001, 2007 and with the largest step in 2012 so far.
At the same time, the company expanded its expertise: in 1980, the vacuum technology system production started, and in 1985 the curve production. In 1994, WASSERMANN developed the first tool changer, and tool automation began. The Wassermann family became sole shareholder in 2004 and renamed the company 2013 to WASSERMANN TECHNOLOGIE GmbH. The company currently employs 185 people.
