Whether high-voltage switch, X-ray machine, beverage bottling plant or chicken grill: The requirements placed on the drive technology of machines, systems or devices are as diverse as their applications. Groschopp develops a wide range of motors, gearboxes and controllers for various industries. The company can look back on many years of company history, which is characterized by innovations in the field of electric and servo motors.

In the industry, we have made a name for ourselves as a provider of customer-specific drives. The focus is on the production of medium and small series. The customized drives are normally based on the proven standard products from Groschopp and are adapted to individual specifications. There are hardly any limits to creativity – we also realize unusual designs and use special materials. Completely new designs are also possible: Our development department is located directly in the house and has state-of-the-art tools, a specially designed prototype and its own laboratory. Groschopp delivers everything from one source, so that a flexible and efficient project management is always guaranteed.

One of Groschopp’s satisfied customers is a renowned supplier of automation technology for the automotive industry, who provides its customers with an industrial-grade modular system for the most common robot functions – with robust, maintenance-free components designed for the extreme conditions of mass production in the automotive industry and their suppliers. Groschopp drive solutions are used, among other things, for electric swivels. Specifically, we supply custom-made, maintenance-free hollow shaft motors with an aluminum housing that allow application-specific outputs of 250 to 750 watts.

Tailored drive solutions from Groschopp also prove themselves when things get hot in the truest sense of the word – for example in high-performance grill rotisseries. The manufacturer – a provider of technology for system catering – has been relying on individual drives from Groschopp for many years, because the high operating temperatures and the regular cleaning of the grinder rotisseries make very special demands on drive technology. Due to the high furnace temperatures, special windings must be provided in the motors, among other things, to ensure reliable operation and a long service life.
