About us
Schmale Maschinenbau GmbH is a family business that has been growing in Altena for 50 years. We build advanced machines for the strip, tube and wire processing. Presumably, you use daily items that contain parts that were produced on our equipment. Energy efficiency is an integral part of our innovative system technology. In November 2016, we even received an award from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for our particularly energy-efficient machines. With around 50 employees and a turnover of 11 million euros, we supply customers in Germany and worldwide.

We realize complete solutions, from modular machining centers to specially tailored special machines. Our core competencies include the intelligent automation of a wide range of work steps. Schmale plants are available from suppliers to the automotive and rail industry, in the packaging industry or from manufacturers of kitchen appliances, bicycles, DIY products, etc.
